Otto "Bud" PRIER. 38. Otto "Ott" Allison
PRIER was born on 28 Jan 1895 in Crawford County, Illinois. He died
in Apr 1943 in Crawford County, Illinois. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge
in Robinson, the Crawford County Country Club, Eastern Star, and White Shrine.
He attended the First Methodist Church. Ott attended Robinson High School for
two years. He became a watchmaker apprentice in Swern's Jewelry Store on the
west side of the square. This included mopping the floor stoking the coal fires
and waiting on the trade.
Ott opened his own jewelry store June 13, 1931 on the north side of the square.
After his untimely death his wife managed the store until 1955.
